To Infinity and Beyond: Max's Epic Toy Story Birthday Bash!

Hey there, party people!

Today, I’m thrilled to share all the details about what I think is my favorite birthday theme yet for our oldest Max! And let me tell you, it was a Toy Story fan's dream come true. Scroll down for all the details!

Let's kick things off with the decor, shall we? We transformed the Barn at Springhouse garden into a mini Toy Story universe, starting with a Buzz Lightyear-colored bounce house that was practically begging for a space ranger adventure. We had not one, but two balloon arches one decked out in Woody's classic cowboy colors, and the other repping Buzz Lightyear's signature space-ranger colors. Now, let's talk about the stars of the show—Buzz and Woody. I took it upon myself to hand-paint larger-than-life cutouts of our favorite space ranger and cowboy, making sure that every corner of the party was infused with Toy Story magic.  And to top it all off, my husband crafted these Instagram-worthy white arch backdrops that were straight-up photo booth gold. Trust me, these beauties are staying in our party arsenal forever. They were the perfect backdrop for capturing all those priceless party moments that'll be memories for years to come.

Oh, and let's not forget the food! We served up some pizza from "Pizza Planet" with a handpainted alien and Pizza Planet logo cutout peeping behind the bar. And for dessert? Toy Story cookies made by “The Cookie Social” and were almost too cute to eat! Plus a cake made by “Carmanadas” that I decked out with all the Toy Story characters. And let's not forget the Buzz Lightyear piñata (even though Max did not want to “hurt Buzz” I mean how cute is he!) talk about a sugar rush! 

But wait, there's more! We set up a "Forky Making Station" where little hands could make their very own lovable spork-turned-toy. The creativity was off the charts as each kid brought their own Forky to life—it was like a mini assembly line of quirky characters. And what's a Toy Story party without some seriously awesome party favors? Each kiddo got to take home a special assortment of Toy Story-themed toys, from mini Buzz Lightyears to Woody figurines. It was like Christmas morning in May!
