Module 00: WELCOME + INTRODUCTION + THE PREP!!
In this first module, follow along to hear a little bit about Kayla’s artistic journey + how she landed her globe deal with Anthropologie, see all the supplies you will need, and how to decide on your color palette!
After watching the video for Module 00, you will need to purchase or round up supplies! There is an attached Supply List in this module with a list of recommended items, as well as a Globe Color Palette PDF with Kayla’s favorite globe color palettes and the exact colors you will need.
Module 01: LET'S PAINT THE WORLD!
The second video we jump into painting our globe after you have your supplies and have picked your color palette. All of Kayla’s preset color palettes are organized in the order you will need to paint your globe, so it takes the guesswork out of the process.
Kayla then demonstrates through the video exactly where to start, the techniques she uses on all of her globes and takes you step-by-step through the first process.
Module 02: WATER CONTINUED + PAINTING THE COUNTRIES
In module 02, we will finish up our water, and begin painting our countries in our colorful palette.
Kayla walks you through how to do this so that you won’t have any odd shapes left at the end, creating a cohesive globe.She gives all her best tips and tricks along the way, making the process fun, relaxing and super easy!
Module 03: FINISHING THE GLOBE + FINAL STEPS!
In the last module, we cover lots of important finishing steps that are necessary to make your globe look finished and complete!
Kayla teaches you how to sign your name on your masterpiece, how to add the gold sheen, and the best protective varnish to use on your globe to keep it safe from moisture and dust!
